Create Adobe Target audiences from your Tealium AudienceStream audiences, either once by hand or on a schedule with the mapping function.
Set your Adobe Target audience config rules first. Stride names and matches every audience it creates with that rule.
Who can do this
Only Owners and Admins can add audiences to Adobe Target.
Add audiences to Adobe Target #
- Go to Audiences → Tealium Audience Stream and tick the AudienceStream audiences you want. Audiences that already have an Adobe Target audience can’t be ticked.
- Click Add to Adobe Target. The Add to Adobe Target window lists the audiences you ticked.
- Double-click a row to edit it:
- Adobe Target Audience Name: filled in from your naming convention.
- Adobe Target Audience workspace: a note kept in Stride only. It isn’t sent to Adobe Target.
- Description: sent to Target with the audience. If you leave it empty, Stride sends
test.
- Click Submit. Stride creates the audiences in Adobe Target with your default Adobe IO integration.
Changes live systems
Submit creates audiences in your live Adobe Target account.
Keep audiences in sync automatically #
To create Target audiences for new AudienceStream audiences on a schedule, set up the Mapping AudienceStream Audiences to Adobe Target Audiences function, described below.
Mapping AudienceStream Audiences to Adobe Target Audiences #
This recurring function creates Adobe Target audiences from Tealium AudienceStream audiences, so you can target the same segments in Target.
- Go to Functions and open Mapping AudienceStream Audiences to Adobe Target Audiences. The form is titled Create AT Audience from Tealium.

- Enter a Task Name.
- In Contains, enter text to map only the AudienceStream audiences whose name contains it.
- Choose the Adobe IO Integration (the Target side) and the Tealium Integration (the AudienceStream side).
- Set the Time Interval, Status and Recipient Email, as for any recurring task.
- Click Submit.
Changes live systems
While the task’s Status is ENABLED, every run creates audiences in your live Adobe Target account. Set it to DISABLED to pause the sync.
The task then appears under Saved Tasks, where you can edit it, read its logs or delete it.
