The toolbar above every preview sets the device, size and zoom, and turns landscape, the background image, the device border and full screen on or off.
The preview toolbar #
The same toolbar appears in the experience wizard, the template editor, the Choose Template preview and bulk previews.
| Control | Use |
|---|---|
| Device | Choose the device frame. The list depends on the template’s platform (see below). The preview opens on the template’s Default Device. |
| Width × height | Shows the device’s screen size. Choose Custom to type your own width and height. |
| Zoom | 50%, 75%, 100%, 125% or 150%. |
| Landscape | Rotate the device. Shown only when the template has Landscape Support turned on; MacBook Pro has no landscape view. |
| Background Image | Show or hide the template’s background image behind the preview, so you can see the experience in context. |
| Remove border | Hide the device frame. |
| ⤢ | Open the preview full screen. |
Supported devices in previews #
The device list follows the template’s platform: Mobile Only templates offer the phones and iPad Mini, Web Only templates offer MacBook Pro, and Responsive templates offer every device. Custom is always available.
