Create an account or join your team

Register a new organisation for your company, or accept an invitation to join one that already exists, then verify your email.

Each customer in Stride is an organisation. The organisation holds your integrations, experiences, templates, functions and users, and its data is kept apart from every other organisation.

Register a new organisation #

1. On the Stride home page, click Register or Login. On the login form, click Sign up (under “Don’t have an account yet?”).
2. Stride asks whether you want a new organisation or want to join an existing one. Choose Yes, I want to create a separate organisation for my company.

3. Fill in the Create Your Organisation form:
   • Enter your Name: your full name.
   • Enter your Organization: your company or team name. This becomes the organisation name.
   • Enter your Email: your work email address. Stride sends a verification link here.
   • Enter your Password: see the password rules in Sessions and authentication.

4. Click Create Your Organisation.
5. Open the verification email and click the link.

6. Log in. You are the Owner of the new organisation. To see which plan it starts on, open My Plan (see Your plan and usage).

Join an existing organisation #

You can’t join an organisation by yourself. An Owner of that organisation must invite you (see Invite and manage users and roles). If you choose No, I don’t want to create a separate organisation on Stride. Let me join an existing organisation on the sign-up screen without an invitation, Stride only asks you to contact the owner or administrator of your organisation.

1. Open the invitation email and click the link.
2. The sign-up form opens with the organisation name and your email address already filled in. Enter your name and a password.

3. Submit the form, then verify your email.
4. Log in. You join with the role chosen in the invitation: Owner, Admin or Editor.
