A project groups your AI Assistant conversations and gives the assistant reference files and suggested prompts to work with.
Projects #
The current project is shown at the bottom left of the panel (Project: …). Your conversation history and the Library follow the selected project.
Warning
Projects belong to the organisation. Every member can see and change every project, its context files and its prompts. Don’t upload anything that only some people should see.
- Click Manage project at the top of the panel, or the project name next to Project:, to open Manage projects.

- To add a project, click Create new project, enter a Project name and click Create project.
- To switch project, choose it in the Select column, then click Done.
Delete a project #
Click Delete in the project’s row, then Delete project.
Changes live systems
Deleting a project permanently deletes it and all of its context files, for everyone in the organisation. It can’t be undone.
Context files #
Context files are reference documents the assistant reads with every question in the project, such as naming conventions, a test plan or a glossary.
- In Manage projects, click Manage context for the project.
- Choose a file under Upload new context file and click Upload file. Each file can be up to 10 MB.

- To remove a file, click the bin icon in its row.
These file types are accepted:
| Kind | Extensions |
|---|---|
.pdf | |
| Word | .docx, .docm, .dotx, .dotm |
| Excel | .xlsx, .xls, .xlsm, .xltx, .xltm, .xlsb |
| PowerPoint | .pptx, .pptm, .potx, .potm |
| OpenDocument | .odt, .ott, .odp, .otp, .ods, .ots, .odg, .otg |
| Other documents | .rtf, .epub |
| Text and data | .md, .txt, .json, .csv, .tsv, .yaml, .yml, .xml, .html |
Any other file type is refused when you choose it. Old .doc and .ppt files are refused too; save them as .docx or .pptx first.
The assistant reads only part of very long files. For the character limits per file and per project, see AI Assistant limits.
Suggested prompts #
- In Manage projects, click Manage prompts for the project.
- Type a prompt and click Add prompt. To change one, click its pencil icon, edit the text and click Update prompt. The bin icon deletes it.

When a project has its own prompts, the panel shows them instead of the default suggestions.
